Mandarin Duck, Orland Park, 2019. After this species gained national attention in New York City after a sighting in Central Park, one happened to appear in the city I live in Illinois. Stunning to say the least,this is either an escapee or release as it is very unlikely this is a migrant as these are usually captive and not native to North America.
